Hey there, Tracey!
On the behalf of the entire planDisney panel, welcome! We love helping Guests plan their stay, making the planning process easier so you can maximize the magic during your visit to the Disneyland Resort! And with your visit just around the corner, I'm glad to see that you're finalizing some plans before your arrival. In case you haven't heard, there has been a big announcement recently that may help you make even more core memories during your trip.
Character Greetings are back! Starting this week, you'll be able to hug, high five and get autographs from some of your favorite characters! Ka-Chow!
Tracey, though the ticket price will not change if you switch your park reservation to
Disneyland Park, it can be a bit tricky. To change over to Disneyland Park, you'll want to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability to make sure there are reservations open for the day you plan to visit. If you see that little pink castle icon on the date, it means that Disneyland Park still has reservations available that day.
Now, here's where things get a bit risky. To change your park, you'll need to cancel the original park reservation and rebook for Disneyland Park. You want to make sure there is as little time as possible in between the cancellation and rebooking for a different park, as you risk losing the reservation completely if both parks fill up.
Another option is to upgrade to a
Park Hopper Ticket, which would allow you to start your day in
Disney California Adventure Park and then hop over to experience a whole new world at Disneyland Park after 1 p.m. I often find that a Park Hopper Ticket gives Guests the best of both worlds!
I hope this helps maximize the magic for you today, Tracey!
Hakuna Matata,
Ashley
