Hi, I purchased park ticket a few months after making the hotel reservations, so I didn’t buy a ‘package’. Is it still possible to get the “magical extras” savings card and other things included (I think I read somewhere luggage tags, stickers etc). Thx!

Hey there, Kristen! I am sending neighborly greetings northward to you in Canada from my home down here in North Carolina. I am honored that you have chosen to visit us again at planDisney to get an answer about Magical Extras and vacation packages.

If you take a look at the Magical Extras page, it describes the program as a benefit of purchasing a vacation package from the Walt Disney Travel Company that bundles a hotel reservation and two or more days of theme park tickets.  Your separately booked hotel and ticket purchase would not qualify you to receive Magical Extras.

My fellow panelist Matt answered a similar question earlier this year, and I want to echo the statement that Walt Disney World theme park tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable. While you can put the amount you spent toward a new ticket purchase, you won't be able to apply it to a vacation package. I recommend reaching out to a friendly Cast Member in Guest Services to see if they can assist you further.

I hope you have a great visit to Disney World, Kristen! Don't hesitate to visit us again if you have additional questions or curiosities.

    Stay magical,
    Scott
