I have purchased the park pass an made reservations for hollywood studios. No local motels. They of course want to go to rise of the resistance. What should I do to insure that they will ride? Website

Hi Alan, and welcome to planDisney!

I can only imagine the excitement you feel knowing that you have a Walt Disney World Resort vacation on the calendar in the coming days!

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance located in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at Disney's Hollywood Studios is on our "Must Do List" each visit. You are on the right path by ensuring you have a theme park reservation in place, and all that is left is to arrive and have the best experience. Besides waiting in the standby line, I highly recommend purchasing the Disney Genie+ Individual Lightning Lane entrance because it is such a popular attraction. The one price your pay for the Individual Lightning Lane allows you to select an arrival window (one at a time) for up to 2 attractions per day. That means that you can choose to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway with little waiting. The cost of the Individual Lightning Lane will vary, but if you ask me, it is worth the price. If you are a Disney Resort guest, you can make your first purchase starting at 7:00 AM on the day of your visit. If you are not a Disney Resort guest, you can make your first purchase when the theme park opens.

Please stop by again if you have additional questions; we are thrilled to help you plan your upcoming visit.

    Have a magical time!
