Hi Matthew!
Thanks for stopping by to ask your question at planDisney! Although I am sad to hear that you are cancelling your trip for next week, I am thrilled to learn that you are planning to go at another time!
First things first, I suggest that you check your ticket expiration dates in
My Disney Experience. In some cases, due to park closure, tickets were automatically extended until September 26, 2021. If your tickets were not automatically extended, call and speak directly to a Cast Member in Existing Tickets at 407-566-4985. They can check your exact
theme park tickets and make sure that you can use them at a later time. I called to speak to a Cast Member and he also indicated that, depending on the dates of your new visit, there may be an additional cost for the new tickets.
Once you have those tickets sorted out, make sure that you have the
My Disney Experience Mobile app. With new park procedures, the mobile app has additional features that will enhance your park visit. In particular, you will want to use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. My family loves this service! Also keep track of the
operational updates as procedures and experiences may change. Pay particular attention to the
theme park ticket and
resort hotel updates.
As it gets closer to the dates of your visit, be sure to familiarize yourself with the
Disney Park Pass reservation system to make your theme park selections for each day of your visit. Check the
theme park pass availability calendar to see which parks are available during your trip. If others are traveling with you, make sure they are connected in your My Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience.
Matthew, having rescheduled trips in the past, I know how disappointing that can be, but I also know how much happy dancing we have done when we book the new trip. I trust you have been taking good care of your super-suit -
Together, Let's Make Your Next Disney Day Incredible!
Magic and memories,
