    Hello, I purchased a park hopper but would like to upgrade to the Imagine Magic Key for SoCal residents. Would I still be able to make monthly payments on the remaining balance?

    Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your excellent question! I’m excited you’re interested in upgrading your Park Hopper ticket to a Disneyland Resort Magic Key! There’s so much to see and do at “The Happiest Place on Earth!”, you’ll certainly want to come back all year long! 
     
    And, I’m delighted to report that California residents have the option of using Monthly Payments for the purchase of a Magic Key. This option is available for Magic Keys purchased online or via the Disneyland Mobile App. You’ll see the option to upgrade in the app under the “Tickets & Passes” section once your ticket has been scanned at the main entrance turnstiles. But, I recommend waiting to upgrade until the end of the day on the last day of your visit. That’s because your Theme Park Reservation is linked to your current theme park admission ticket. Upgrading to an Imagine Key mid-visit will cause your reservation to be deleted. You would then need to book a new reservation (subject to the Magic Key Access Calendar).
