Martin from MD Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Hi, We purchased park hopper tickets for November but when I tried to make park reservations the system would only allow us to book a single park a day. We are part of a group and have meal reservations at both parks. How can fix this?

Hello there, Martin! Welcome to planDisney. I'm so glad you've stopped by with your question.

Martin, park hopping is my favorite way to spend a Disney day, and I think you'll enjoy it too! I love being at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks for the early morning hours to cross off several of my must-do's for the day before it tends to get busy. Then, around lunchtime, I like to head back to the Walt Disney World Resort Hotel that I happen to be staying at for an afternoon swim or maybe even a nap. After I've had some fun in the Florida sun, I like to clean up and head over to Epcot for the evening hours. Strolling around The World Showcase for dinner with snacks and drinks is just so much fun. It's a great way to spend the day!

Park hopping does look a little bit different than it did before the shutdown last summer, Martin. Here's how it's currently working:

    • Guests wishing to park hop must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option
    • Guests wishing to park hop must have park pass reservations for the first theme park they'd like to visit each day
    • It is not possible or necessary to make multiple park pass reservations for a single day
    • On the day of, Guests wishing to park hop must scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation first before continuing on to other Walt Disney World Theme Parks later in the day
    • Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evening
    • To make park hopping a little bit more convenient, complimentary park-to-park bus transportation is currently being provided
So, as you can see, the system does not allow you to make park pass reservations for multiple theme parks. As long as your park pass reservation is made for the first theme park you are visiting each day you are all set. You'll want to make sure that if you are hopping to another theme park for a dining reservation that it is made for after 2:00 p.m. or you won't be able to go in for that meal.

I hope this helps clear up any confusion, Martin. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and ask me. I'm happy to help. Have fun and happy hopping!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
