Hi Patricia. Welcome back to planDisney. Thanks for bringing yet another question to us! We love seeing Guests return with additional questions.
I’m delighted to see you’re planning an upcoming trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth. Now that you’ve secured your tickets and theme park reservations, I bet you’re excited to
return to a land of Magic. I find it best to have
Park Hopper tickets so that you can experience both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park on the same day.
When you link your tickets to your
Disneyland mobile app, you do not need to print out the unique QR code that was sent to your email address. You can conveniently scan the ticket barcode when you arrive at the turnstile for park entry. On my last few trips to the parks, I did not need to show my QR code when entering. On your first day when you scan your ticket’s barcode on the Disneyland mobile app for entry, the Cast Member will print out a paper ticket (just like the ones we used to get). It’s nice to have a paper ticket handy in case, say your phone ran out of battery or Stitch caused a glitch on the Disneyland mobile app. You can use this paper ticket for park hopping if you don’t want to scan your ticket barcode on the Disneyland mobile app.
If you have more trip-planning question, please don’t hesitate to visit us on
planDisney again. We’re all EARS!
See ya real soon,
Kiki
