I purchased park hopper tickets for July 14th and 15th, I wanted to confirm that Disneyland Park (California) will be open until 12am. If the park isn't open until midnight, is there any options avaliable to extend hours for those dates.

Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it’s off to planDisney you go, Catlin!

I love closing down the Disneyland Resort, so I can relate to your question! I always want to make the most of my days at the Happiest Place on Earth. The Entertainment Schedule and Park Hours are usually updated about six weeks in advance, so currently, they’re only updated through May 27, 2022. So, you’ll need to check back around June 2 to see the scheduled park hours for July 14, and again on June 3 to see the scheduled park hours for July 15. Typically, unless there’s a special event happening that evening, Disneyland Park is usually open until 12:00 AM during the summertime months. Disney California Adventure Park is usually open until about 9:00 PM or 10:00 PM as well. I don’t see any special events taking place on July 14 or 15, so hopefully, you should be good to go with a midnight closure at Disneyland Park.

As for extending park hours, I believe you may be referring to past perks such as Magic Morning and Extra Magic Hour, which have unfortunately been suspended as the Resort manages capacity with the park reservation system. According to the website, the Disneyland Resort will share any updates on these offerings at a later date. So, I recommend staying tuned to the Disney Parks Blog for any announcements about the return of these awesome benefits!

Last but not least, since you’re hoping to maximize your Disney days, I recommend adding Disney Genie+ Service to your theme park tickets! I recently experienced Genie+, and was amazed at the number of attractions we were able to get through in just a few hours! If you’d like to add it to your tickets, you can do so upon entering either theme park using the Disneyland app. From the home screen, tap on the three lines in the lower-right corner. Select “My Genie Day” and look for “Get Disney Genie+ for Today.” Now, tap “Get Disney Genie+ Service,” and you’ll be prompted to select which tickets are eligible to add Genie+ for that day. Simply select the tickets you’d like to add the service to, and off you go!

I hope this information helps you plan your Disneyland Resort getaway, Catlin! Please stop back with any additional questions… we love making your Disney dreams come true!

    Happy planning,
    Kristin
