Happy Holidays, Lauren!
With your visit just days away, I bet you are eager to put the finishing touches on your planning. It's exciting to hear that you have Park Hopper tickets in your pocket. It's always extra magical to have the flexibility to bounce between parks after the clock strikes 11:00 AM!
I have some good news for you! You do not need to make any changes ahead of your visit to the names currently assigned to your theme park tickets. Tickets are not officially assigned until they are used to scan into the park for the first time. At that point, the turnstiles will ask you to take a selfie, which will attach your photo to your ticket, ensuring that no one else can use it. You can call
Guest Services to make the name change ahead of time, but it is not necessary. I recently used a ticket I originally purchased for my husband after he was not able to make the trip, and had no issues at all scanning into Disneyland Park.
Now that we've got that settled, I hope you can enjoy the last few days of all the holly jolly festivities in the parks! You'll want to check the Entertainment Schedule ahead of time to earmark any parades, fireworks, or shows that are must-sees on your to-do list. A few favorites of mine are
A Christmas Fantasy Parade and
"Believe...In Holiday Magic" Fireworks Spectacular over at Disneyland and
World of Color Happiness! at California Adventure. Since you have Park Hoppers, you can experience the festive overlays in both parks, so you won't want to miss a spin through
Cars Land or
Haunted Mansion Holiday and
"it's a small world" Holiday!
Well, Lauren, I hope we've set you up for a successful visit with your daughter this weekend! You are in for some magical memory-making, that's for sure. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney.
Be merry!
Tara
