I have purchased park hopper tickets to Disneyland and it was under my previous last name. I have changed my last name recently. What do I need to bring with me my old driver’s license for ID and new license? Any other documents showing my previous name?

    Hi Gabrielle, welcome to planDisney!

If the park hopper tickets are standard theme park tickets, nothing needs to be done! The names assigned to standard theme park tickets are more to help Guests organize their party members. They do not need to match your identification document. When you visit the Disneyland Resort Main Entrance Turnstiles, the Cast Members there will scan your tickets, and take a picture of each Guest. This is how the tickets will be assigned to the Guests.

If the park hopper tickets you purchased are the limited-time summer ticket offers available for California Residents residing within ZIP codes 90000-96199, you will need to bring a valid government-issued photo ID showing an address within a valid ZIP code for proof of residency. Your new driver's license should work, but you are more than welcome to bring your old driver's license as well. And a couple of other items to note regarding these tickets. These must be used from June 13 through September 15, 2022, but the great thing about these tickets is that they can be used on nonconsecutive days!

I hope that helps to clarify! If you have any more questions at all, please visit us again!
