Hey there Carla,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for your question!
While theme park tickets are nonrefundable according to the
eTickets Terms & Conditions page, you can definitely still use this ticket for a future visit!
When you purchase a
theme park ticket through the Disneyland Resort website, it will ask who is using each ticket and then you'll see their name associated with the ticket in the
Disneyland Resort mobile app, but this is just to help you keep the tickets organized and does not determine who needs to use the ticket.
When you first scan your ticket at an entry gate, the Cast Member will take a picture of each member of your party that will be assigned to their ticket. It is this that determines who then needs to use each ticket through the rest of its use.
Therefore, you'll just need to make sure you use this ticket during an upcoming trip before its expiration date, which you can find in the email you received after you purchased it. If it does expire before you're able to visit again, then you can apply the value of that ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket that is equal to or greater in value.
Thanks again for your question, Carla! I hope you enjoy your next visit to the Disneyland Resort.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
