Hiya, Helena!
Welcome to planDisney!
Oh dear! I am so very sorry for this situation! Unfortunately one of the downsides to the
Park Pass Reservation system, which was introduced post-pandemic to help ensure social distancing measures, is that specific
Disney dates tend to be reserved well in advance than others. It can certainly take the magic out of visiting The Happiest Place on Earth. I for one miss the ability to wake up in the morning and just decide to go to
Disneyland Park or
Disney California Adventure Park with our annual passes.
Your best bet would be to keep checking to see if any last-minute reservations have happened to open up. Luckily the reservation system is fluid and as other Guests change their minds or have to cancel their plans, their old spots open up for those who are looking for some pixie dust. Sadly there is no waitlist or a way to call and be assigned someone else's appointment, so you'll just have to keep checking and keep refreshing. Be sure to try looking for a
Park Pass Reservation using both your desktop computer as well as your
Disneyland Mobile App as sometimes one is faster than the other.
Pro Tip: If you're going all the way up to the resort anyway to drop your daughter off, it might be worth it to ask at the
Guest Relations Window if there are any more reservations for the day. This walk-up window is located just outside of
Disney California Adventure Park; if you're looking at the turnstile entrances, head all the way to your left. You might also be able to make this inquiry at the in-person ticket booths.
Again I'm so sorry for this less than magical experience, Helena. I do hope that you've already been able to find a last-minute Park Pass Reservation, and I'll certainly wish extra pixie dust for you for tomorrow as well. I know your daughter will do amazing! Thank you again for reaching out to us hEAR at
