    I have purchased the park hopper option and was wondering if it is really needed? We will be in WDW for 8 days and I figured 2 days for MK, 1 day for epcot, 1 day for HS and 1 day AK. We plan to attended MVMCP. My son will be 6 almost 7 when we go.

    Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

    The Park Hopper option is great if you intend to visit more than one park in a day, or if you wish to visit a different park in the evening for the fireworks or a show, or for dinner - (even if you are just visiting a restaurant at another park, you will need the park hopper option).  For Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party you will only need your Party ticket for entry.

    If you are sure you will only visit one park per day, then you probably will not need the Park Hopper option.  I think if you have a six-year-old son, one park per day is probably enough!
