We purchased park hopper option but when we try to reserve another park it says only one park can be picked.

Hello there, Robert. Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

I can assure you that you are doing everything correct, Robert. You are only able to make a park pass reservation for one theme park per day, even if you have the park hopper option added on to your tickets. Park hopping just recently returned to us and I for one was so excited! Park hopping is my favorite way to spend a Disney day.

Here's how park hopping is currently working:
    • Guests wishing to park hop must have valid theme park admission with the park hopper option
    • Guests wishing to park hop must make park pass reservations at the initial park they'd like to visit each day
    • Guests must scan in and enter the theme park with the park pass reservation first before continuing on to other theme parks throughout the day
    • Park hopping hours now start at 2:00 p.m. and last until each park closes in the evenings
    • Guests do not need to make additional park pass reservations to park hop. Just that initial one each day
To make park hopping a little bit easier on Guests like us at this time, Disney is providing complimentary park-to-park bus transportation starting around 2:00 p.m. When you are ready to park hop, just head out of the theme park you are currently at and find the bus stop area. There you'll see a designated bus stop area to the park you'd like to visit next. There should be a Cast Member there verifying that you do, indeed, have the park hopper ticket. This is just a quick scan of your MagicBand or ticket card and then you'll be able to board the bus and be whisked away for your next magical adventure. Park hopping is subject to capacity limitations at this time. With that being said, I've park hopped since its return early this year many, many times, even on sold out days, and have never encountered a problem with being able to enter any of the theme parks after 2:00 p.m. So this really isn't a big concern but I did want to mention it to you.

So it looks like you are all set to enjoy a wonderful Walt Disney World vacation park hopping wherever your heart desires. I always love park hopping over to Epcot in the evening hours. It's fun to have snacks and drinks around The World Showcase around suppertime when the sun is setting. It's a magical way to end the day. If you have any other questions before your trip, please come back and ask me, Robert. I'm here to help.

    Happy hopping!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
