I purchased the park hopper. I have a dining reservation and admission into MK. Can I switch my initial park to AK but then hop over to MK before my dining reservation?

    Greetings, Connie!

Thanks for bringing your question to us, we’re happy to help! Park Hopping has now become a must for my family. We usually Rope Drop one park, take a midday break, then close out another. It really maximizes our day! Plus, we are all obsessed with visiting the parks, so it’s really hard to keep us away.

Connie, you are more than welcome to do so, as long as your dining reservation is after 2:00 p.m., that is when Park Hopping hours begin. Please keep in mind, Park Hopping is subject to availability, so even though you do have a dining reservation, there’s no guarantee you will be able to enter Magic Kingdom Park. I always like to play it safe and try not to Park Hop, in order to get to my dining reservation. Especially since I like to give myself plenty of time to travel between parks and arrive. I don’t like to be scurrying like the White Rabbit!

I hope this helps answer your question, Connie! Have fun at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Magic Kingdom Park and if you have any other questions, we’re all EARs!

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
