I purchased paper tickets before they switched over to Mymagic+ ones. They are unused. If I link these tickets to my reservation, will this allow me to use either a room card or band when I arrive to use mymagic+? Are the old tickets no longer needed?

Hi Brian - your thinking is correct and this is exactly what I did for my vacation this past September.  I had paper tickets I received in January and as my vacation neared, I went into My Disney Experience to link the tickets.  As a bonus, I received an alert indicating I was eligible to schedule my FastPass+ selections so we went ahead and did that as well.  Once you link, your tickets are no longer needed.  However, I will admit I brought mine along just in case I needed them.  I'm happy to say everything went super smooth and I did not have to refer to those tickets again.

    Have a wonderful vacation!
