I'm glad to hear that you've linked your package to your
My Disney Experience account; that's the first step in making sure everything is ready to go. Please keep in mind that the
MagicBands are currently in their testing phases right now. Guests are being randomly selected to participate in the testing and you won't be able to customize
MagicBands unless you've been selected. When we were selected to participate in
MagicBand testing, I received an invitation letter from Disney. When I logged into our
My Disney Experience account, I was immediately directed to customize our
MagicBands. The customizing consisted of choosing
MagicBand colors and granting charging privileges [at our discretion] for each member of our party. Our
MagicBands arrived on our doorstep shortly [within two weeks] after that. My thought is that when you've been selected, the "
MagicBand number" the site is referring to is connected to your account behind the scenes, if you will.
Of course, this is strictly my experience and, as with all testing, things are constantly changing so you might experience something different. Keep a close eye on your
My Disney Experience account to see if you get a pop-up asking you to customize your
MagicBands! I sure hope you do!
