I just purchased a package and opted for the 3 day tickets . I realized now that it would have been $351 cheaper to buy the tickets separately with the special going on . Can I modify it? My trip is in 28daya

Hey Howdy Hey Misty and welcome to planDisney!

How exciting it is once you book your vacation and know your Magical trip is quickly approaching! While it always is an added benefit to saving on your vacation with Special Offers, there is a way to have these applied to your vacation package depending on the offer. Thank you for your question about Special Offers, I will be happy to give you more information on the options you have for your vacation.

When it comes to booking vacation packages with Disney, these will include your Theme Park Tickets and a stay with Disney Resorts Collection. If you do want to modify this, you can do so and completely cancel without penalty 30 days or more from your date of arrival. Inside the 30-day mark is when cancelations come with a $200 penalty according to the current policy. If you were to try to do this on your end, your only option would be to cancel your trip and rebook your trip with your hotel stay and then your tickets separately. You would still be saving money, just not as much as you had hoped due to the cancelation fee. Considering you want to keep things and just rebook differently, you may have an option.

You can always try calling Disney and speaking with a Cast Member about your situation. Cast Members have occasional access to pixie dust that we commoners do not and they might be able to help modify your booking for a hotel-only and ticket-only purchase. Just know, that this process does involve a cancelation fee which the Cast Member may not be able to override. I would ask if that process would come with a cancelation fee for your main vacation package. If so, it is up to you in which direction you go. I would say the one big consideration of the 3-day ticket offer is that Magic Kingdom is not on the list of available parks to visit. If you want to visit Magic Kingdom, you might want to stay with your current vacation package.

Best of luck as you consider your options and I am sorry I could not deliver better news for you. If you have any further questions, please let us know, we are always happy to help.

    Have a Magical day,

    Nick
