Hi, I purchased Oogie Boogie tickets and no longer can make the trip with my family (I am 9 months pregnant and now on bedrest). I'd like to give my tickets to a friend, but the tickets have our individual names on them. Does this matter?

Greetings, Kali, and welcome to planDisney! While I'm sorry you won't be able to make it to the Oogie Boogie Bash this year, I'd like to send warm wishes to you and your family during this special time. Let's talk about what to do with your spare ticket!

Oogie Boogie Bash tickets are nonrefundable and may not be resold or transferred for commercial purposes. However, you can gift your ticket to a friend or family member. Each ticket is officially assigned once it's scanned at the entrance of the park, so there isn't really a need to change the name on the ticket. Of course, if you prefer to change the name, it's easy to do. Just give the Ticket support phone line a call and talk with a Cast Member. They will be glad to assist you with the name change!

For your family members who are going to the after-hours event, make sure they know that, while the Oogie Boogie Bash begins at 6 p.m., they can enter California Adventure as early as 3 p.m. with their tickets. It would be an excellent idea for the group to have dinner and do some shopping during this pre-party park mix-in period so that they are ready for treat trails and Character appearances right when the event begins at 6 p.m. Check out the Halloween Merchandise Guide on the Disney Parks Blog to see if there's anything that catches your eye – I love the Haunted Mansion Collection!

Remember, Kali, the Disneyland Resort will celebrate its 70th Anniversary through next summer, so while you won't be visiting before Halloween this year, perhaps you can start planning a visit for 2026. Share magical experiences with the family, like meeting Disney Characters, cruising around the globe on "it's a small world," enjoying a Dole Whip, and more. Don't forget you can filter attractions by age level and height requirement.

Kali, I'm sprinkling some pixie dust and thinking happy thoughts for you! If you think of any other questions about visiting the Disneyland Resort now or in the future, please let us know. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!

    Wishing you magic,
    Kriss
