I purchased a one-day park hopper before the CA resident tickets came out. Am I able to pay the difference to get two additional park hopper days?

    Hi there, Reva!

Welcome to planDisney. It sounds like you can’t wait to plan some magical visits to the Disneyland Resort this year, and the new ticket offer for Californians is the perfect way to do that!

As you might already know, residents from all around the state can visit the theme parks for as little as $83 per day with the purchase of a 3-day, 1-park-per-day ticket. These tickets can be used three times until September 30, 2021 with no blockout dates. Plus, your visits don’t have to be consecutive because, unlike regular Disneyland Resort tickets, the California resident ticket doesn’t expire 13 days after it is first used and is valid on any three days from now until the end of September.

Yes, since you’re a California resident and purchased a ticket with a value that is less than the promotional ticket, you can convert that unused ticket into a 3-day California resident Park Hopper. To upgrade, please visit a Main Entrance Ticket Booth at the Disneyland Resort. You’ll need to pay the full difference in price at the time of your upgrade, and please keep in mind that you will still need to make a theme park reservation online for each day you plan to visit the parks.

I hope your summer will be packed with pixie-dusted theme park fun, Reva! Please stop by again and ask us any other planning questions you can dream of.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
