I have purchased one day tickets that I have not used. May I apply the cost of these tickets to a Key pass?

Hi there, Rosemary. Thanks again for dropping by planDisney with yet another great question for us.

I’m delighted to see you’ve previously purchased tickets to the Happiest Place on Earth! And I’m glad that you’re planning on becoming a Magic Keyholder. With a Magic Key pass, you’ll be able to enjoy many trips and make new memories with family and friends. And don’t forget, you’ll also receive discounts to select merchandise and dining locations throughout the Disneyland Resort!

Rosemary, you’ll be able to upgrade one of your eligible tickets to a Magic Key pass; however, multiple tickets cannot be combined to upgrade to a Magic Key pass. To upgrade your unused ticket to a Magic Key pass, you can do so by logging into your Disney account on Disneyland mobile app or on As a California resident, you can choose to pay in monthly installments, rather than the full amount. You’ll have the option to do so during your transaction to purchase or upgrade to a Magic Key pass.

I hope this information is helpful for you. If you have additional questions, please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again. We’re all EARS!

    See ya real soon,

Meet the Panelist: Kiki, California

Greetings from Northern California! I have been fascinated by the magic of Disney since I was a little girl; now that I am a mother of two, I love watching my children experience Disney Parks through their own eyes. I am also surrounded by fellow Disney-loving nurse friends whom I enjoy quick adults-only Disneyland Resort escapes with. Whether you are planning your once-in-a-lifetime family trip or a short adults-only getaway to the Happiest Place on Earth, I am here to help!
