Welcome back to planDisney, Geneva!
It sounds like Evil Emperor Zurg has infiltrated your account! Lucky for you, I have the
rootinest tootinest partners in the
Wild, Wild West on my side here to help you!
The current policy for tickets on the
Reopening Theme Parks Updates & Information page states that date-specific theme park tickets that were purchased through June 6, 2020 with their use beginning March 12, 2020 or later will automatically be extended for you to use any date through September 26, 2021. (If you can’t visit by then, you can apply the value of a wholly unused ticket toward the purchase of a ticket for a date in the future.)
The
New Ticket Expiration Deadlines & Usage page also states that the amount paid for an unused, expired ticket may be applied toward the purchase of a new ticket at the current price as long as the new ticket you purchase is equal to or greater than the amount you paid for the original ticket.
It’s strange that those tickets just disappeared from your account! I would try checking the “My Plans” section of your Walt Disney World Resort account, as sometimes tickets will disappear and reappear (that has happened to me many times). You can also look for your tickets on the
My Disney Experience Mobile App, as they sometimes like to hide there as well! If you find that you still cannot find the location of your unused tickets, I would highly recommend
calling Guest Services as soon as possible to make sure you’re able to retrieve your tickets so you can start planning your next epic Walt Disney World excursion!
We hope to hear from you again soon, Geneva! Best of luck!
You’ve got a friend in me!
