Hi Jessica, welcome to planDisney!
I think adding the Park Hopper option for a one-day visit sounds like a fantastic idea. And I am happy to tell you that there are several ways you can add Park Hopper to your existing tickets!
If you are in your My Disney Experience account, scroll down to “My Plans, Reservations, and Tickets.” Click on “Tickets, Passes, & Memory Maker” and you will see a list of your tickets. Click “Change Tickets” next to the ticket you’d like to change and select “Park Hopper Option.”
If you are still having difficulty changing your tickets through My Disney Experience, you can also call a Cast Member for assistance at the number listed under “
Existing Tickets.” You can also add Park Hopper to your tickets in person at a
Guest Relations window located near the entrance of all four theme parks, or at the
Ticket Center in Disney Springs.
You and your son are visiting Walt Disney World Resort at a great time, Jessica! If you’re visiting Magic Kingdom Park,
TRON Lightcycle / Run will be open to guests beginning on April 4, 2023. If you’re planning to stop by EPCOT the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival is going on now. In Disney’s Hollywood Studios,
Roundup Rodeo BBQ just opened and is getting some great reviews! And if you’re visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, check out the
Earth Day treats available throughout the month of April!
I hope this was helpful, Jessica, your trip will be here before you know it! If you have any future questions, please
visit me again at planDisney!
