Hi Donna! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
I'm excited about your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! You have so much to look forward to this year, including all of the festivities involving the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration! There have even been some new dining experiences that have opened up recently. If you plan on visiting
EPCOT, try to grab an Advanced Dining Reservation at
Space 220 Restaurant. The ambiance is out-of-this-world and the food is right on par. They have seating in the dining room with a prix fixe menu or the lounge for smaller bites.
If you purchased your ticket on the
Walt Disney World website, you should have received a confirmation email with the confirmation number. There should also be a barcode in this email that has this same number listed underneath it. Once you locate this number, log on to your
My Disney Experience account and click on "Park Tickets". Then select "Link Tickets" to input this confirmation code. Your ticket should appear on your account and be able to make a park reservation for May 2nd.
If you are still having issues, double-check to make sure you are using the correct code. There are times that multiple confirmation codes appear depending on how you purchased your ticket. The next step would be to
contact the Existing Ticket line and speak to a Cast Member for assistance. They will be happy to walk you through the process and get you set up properly.
To add Disney Genie+ to a single-day ticket, you will need to wait until the day of your park visit to do so. I recommend downloading the
My Disney Experience App and logging on the morning of your park day. Tap on the three horizontal bars on the bottom right of your screen. Then select "My Genie Day" and look for the purple bar that reads "Get Disney Genie+ For Today". Tap on that to purchase the service. Make sure to do so before 7 AM because that will be when you can make your first Disney Genie+ selection for the day. And don't worry, even though you will need to wait until the day of your visit to purchase, Disney Genie+ does not sell out. You will not have any issue with being able to use it on your park day!
Donna, I hope you have a magical time on your vacation. Stop back anytime to
planDisney for help with planning questions!
See ya real soon!
