Hi Kathryn! Welcome to planDisney!
We’re so glad you stopped by to bring us your Memory Maker question.
Memory Maker is one of my favorite souvenirs! I love being able to look back at all the photos from my visits. Those magical moments frozen in time are truly priceless!
Kathryn, when you purchase Memory Maker One Day, there isn’t a place where you need to select your date ahead of time. Instead, the day activates when you download your first
Disney PhotoPass photo. Once that happens, Memory Maker One Day includes all of your Disney PhotoPass media captured from 6:00 AM Eastern Time on the date of activation through 5:59 AM Eastern Time the following day. So when you download that first photo, it essentially “turns on” your Memory Maker window, and any eligible Disney PhotoPass photos taken during that timeframe will be included.
A fun fact! Your Disney PhotoPass pictures and attraction videos will remain available to download until the photos expire, typically for up to 30 days from the date they’re taken. That gives you time to download your favorites, even after you get back home!
Kathryn, make sure you’re using a MagicBand,
Disney MagicMobile pass, or an eligible mobile device with Bluetooth enabled through the
My Disney Experience app on the day you’re hoping to collect all those photos, so you don’t miss any! And if you’re traveling with a group, make sure
you’re all linked together, in case you split up. As long as everyone is linked to the account that purchased the Memory Maker, the photos will appear, and that person will be able to download them all.
I hope your upcoming visit is filled with magical PhotoPass moments, Kathryn! If any other planning questions pop up while you’re getting ready for your trip, come back and see us again.
Wishing you all the magical memories captured beautifully! See ya real soon,
Emille
