Welcome to planDisney. Congratulations and welcome to the
Disney Annual Passholder family. Being annual passholders has been a great investment for our family since we travel to Walt Disney World so frequently. There are also many great perks that come with being a pass holder, and I would like to share a few with you. Before we do, let’s see if we can answer your question and get you on your way to your first visit.
Alrighty, so it looks like you have purchased your annual passes for yourself and your family. First, let’s make sure that your family is all linked to your account. Open the
My Disney Experience app and from the home screen, tap on the 3 bars (≡) at the bottom right-hand corner, scroll down, and click profile. Click the Family & Friends List to see everyone linked to your account. If someone is missing, scroll down and click the Add a Guest button to add each one. They will need to confirm the invite on their end before proceeding further. Once that is complete, we assign everyone their passes.
You should be able to see your passes in your My Disney Experience app, so let’s check there first. From the home screen, tap on the 3 bars (≡) at the bottom right-hand corner, then click on My Tickets & Passes. Here you should find all of your annual passes. You can now scroll to the appropriate pass and click the assign button to link it to the appropriate family member. If, for some reason, you do not see all the passes you purchased, I would contact V.I.PASSHOLDER Support, and a friendly cast member will be happy to assist you. Generally, for your first visit as a new pass holder, you will need to show proof of
Florida residency to activate your tickets. You can click the link I provided to see your options. After that, you will be able to enter The Most Magical Place on Earth and experience a year full of amazing fun and adventure.
The last thing I would like to share with you is a few of the perks that come with being an annual passholder. You get free standard parking, which is great if you plan on driving to the parks. You will also receive discounts at select restaurants and merchandise, which is huge. Oh, and complimentary annual passholder-only items like this year’s magnet featuring the characters of Zootopia. Keep an eye on the BUZZ section of the app for the latest info for passholders.
