Well, hello, Kyle. As a fellow New Jersey resident, I just had to answer your question! Thanks for reaching out to us.
The
Walt Disney World Swan Hotel is such a great option when visiting the resort. It is close to both EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, has some fabulous restaurants, and you are within walking distance of the great restaurants on
Disney’s BoardWalk and at both
Disney’s Beach Club Resort and
Disney’s Yacht Club Resort. So get ready to eat your way around some of the EPCOT-area resorts
and the theme parks. Okay, now that I am really hungry, let’s get to your actual question.
When booking a vacation package at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, a planning pass is sometimes assigned to your account before your actual theme park tickets are provided. This is a placeholder so that you will be able to make your
Lightning Lane selections and advance dining reservations when your booking window opens. Your actual ticket will be provided before your visit, with some Guests reporting that it appears in their account 14 days before arrival or is provided at check-in at the hotel. You can always
chat with a friendly Cast Member to confirm. They truly are the magic and are always happy to help!
Now, I think you can tell that I am pretty food-motivated, especially when visiting Disney. So I have to share my favorite restaurants near your resort. I bet you didn't realize you asked for this subconsciously, did you? Here we go:
- Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Beach Club: Comfort food reminiscent of the diners you are no doubt used to in our home state, but with a whimsical twist and some jaw-dropping sundaes and shakes.
- Cape May Cafe for a delicious character breakfast. Those Salted Caramel "Beach Buns" are to die for. Pour on the vanilla cream and keep it coming!
- Ale & Compass Restaurant at Yacht Club: An underrated gem, especially for breakfast, which is a great value.
- Trattoria al Forno at the BoardWalk: I have had both dinner and breakfast here, and both were great. Since I very rarely go out for breakfast in general, I typically gravitate toward that timeframe while on vacation.
Now, don't discount the options at the family of resorts at which you are staying. I haven't eaten at these locations yet, but that does not mean they are not on my bucket list. I am especially excited to one day try
Bourbon Steak - A Michael Mina Restaurant,
The Fountain,
Todd English's bluezoo (a fan favorite), and
Amare. If you try any or all of these (no judgment here), reach out again and
let me know how they were. Enjoy!
Saving you a seat at Beaches & Cream,
Matt
