Hiya Carrie!
Welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet. Oh my goodness, Carrie, your magical vacation is coming so soon! Can you believe that in less than two weeks, you will be in sunny Orlando, Florida, soaking in all the Disney magic? I know I would be thrilled, and you also picked an especially delicious time to visit!
I don't know about you, Carrie, but I love
MagicBands as I love not having to reach into my bag and find my wallet to tap into the park, use a ride selection, pay for my food or enter my Disney Resort hotel room. Unfortunately, MagicBands typically cannot be reassigned to a new user once they have been assigned to a
My Disney Experience account. In this case, I would highly suggest that you
reach out to a Disney Cast Member via chat, email or phone, as they may be able to help further. Also, Guest Relations Cast Members can typically help with issues regarding your MagicBands, so don't hesitate to stop by the Guest Relations booths at any of the theme parks on your visit!
Now, Carrie, did you know that you will be arriving at the Walt Disney World Resort right in time for this year's edition of the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival? Indeed, I always think that Disney food is an attraction in and of itself, and this festival is perfect for us foodies! If you are interested in trying some food options only available during this festival, I highly recommend checking out the
Disney Parks Blog foodie guide and grabbing a festival passport at EPCOT. That way, you can list the items you want to try and incorporate them with your other plans! Also, if anyone in your party is not interested in the food booths, I highly recommend participating in
Remy's Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt. To participate, simply purchase your map and stickers at select merchandise locations, and then go around the World Showcase to find all the Remy statues. Once your map is complete, you will be to redeem a complimentary prize at those same merchandise locations! While this activity is typically advertised for little chefs, I think it is a lot of fun for dreamers of all ages.
I hope this was helpful, Carrie, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip or if you need more food recommendations, don't hesitate to reach back out. As Remy would say: "Vous serez toujours la bienvenue chez Remy!"
Bon appétit,
Ariane
