I purchased the new Disney Welcome Package from the Disney florist program. However, the large Mickey and the other items might be hard to get home on the airplane. Do you suggest bringing a separate suitcase or can Disney ship it all to our home?

    Hi Jackie,

On my last trip to Disney I was lucky enough to receive an in-room package from the Disney Florist and it included lots of goodies in a big fancy box and an enormous plush Mickey. I actually managed to fit it all into my suitcase as everything packed down quite small, I even dismantled the box to take that home too. Obviously Mickey didn't fit so I just asked my resort for a large laundry bag and he fitted nicely in there. I then carried him on to the plane as hand luggage, all airlines are different but mine was fine and said that they constantly have large furry friends on their return flights.

You probably would be wise taking an extra case or bag with you as you're bound to buy other souvenirs to take home too and it will make packing easier. If you do find that you're unable to get everything into your suitcases then the front desk at your hotel should be able to arrange to deliver a parcel to your home for you or advise how this can be done.

    Have a fantastic  trip,

    Jo
