    I purchased military tickets that will expire at the end of the calendar year. Is there going to be an extension to the expiration date due to the Covid closure? Thank you

    Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing us your question! 

    I have good news for you, the Disneyland Resort has announced extensions to a few different promotional theme park ticket types including Southern California Resident Tickets, Canada Resident Tickets and 2020 Military Salute Tickets. The 2020 Military Salute ticket expiration dates have been extended through December 16, 2021. Tickets may now be used on non-consecutive days and, blockout dates of December 19, 2020 through January 4, 2021 and March 26, 2021 through April 11, 2021 apply. 

    Also, it is worth mentioning that while the reopening date for the Disneyland Resort Hotels has not yet been announced, hotel reservations are now being accepted. And, discounted hotel accommodations are offered for members of the U.S. Military. Currently, on the website, there are special offers for stays through December 17, 2020. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that we’ll be able to celebrate the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort this year. But, we’ll have to wait and see what happens.
