When we purchased our military tickets for Disney the ticket office allowed us to buy 6 under my dads retired military ID and 1 under my moms ID (she is just a spouse, not retired from the military) does that mean she can still buy 5 more for our friends?

Hey there, Sarah! First, as a military spouse, I want to thank your family for their sacrifices so your dad could dedicate himself in service to our country. I'm sure it wasn't always easy, and we do appreciate his service.

What a great benefit Walt Disney World offers active duty, retired, and 100% service-connected permanently disabled veterans with the Disney Military Salute theme park tickets. It's an awesome way for a service member's family to reconnect and make some of the memories you may not have been able to make with your dad on active duty.

There is a limit per service member on these specially priced military tickets, and the limit is six tickets. In some circumstances, if the immediate family is larger than six, consideration can be made to offer additional tickets for the immediate family only. There isn't an additional set of six tickets on your mom's military ID. The tickets are meant only for the military service member, spouse, and dependant children, so only in situations where dependent children outnumber the ticket limit are they can provide additional tickets.

If you haven't already booked a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, Sarah, there's also a special military offer on resort rooms. Definitely check it out.

I hope this helps your family in planning their upcoming vacation!
