I've got great news for you! You were told correctly. Disney Military Promotion Tickets are unique in that they do NOT need to be used within 13 days of first use as a standard ticket would. Isn't that great? We are a military family as well and have used these tickets many times throughout the years. We love this perk of being able to use these tickets throughout the year for last-minute day trips to Disneyland Resort whenever we can get work, military, and school schedules to line up.
Did you know that there are also
special hotel rates available at Disneyland Resort Hotels? Eligible military members can take advantage of special room rates at all three hotels. Rooms allocated for this rate are limited, so if you are interested you would need to call (877) 372-6820, to check availability and book.
If you happen to be in Disneyland Park during the late afternoon you may be able to catch the
flag retreat ceremony at the flag pole in front of Disneyland Railroad - Main Street, U.S.A. Station. You may also be able to check with Guest Services to inquire what time the ceremony will take place that day.
