Hi Sean, welcome to planDisney!
Your September visit to Walt Disney World Resort is just around the riverbend. If you're a fan of diverse food and beverage offerings, I highly encourage you to spend time enjoying the
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival. The planDisney panelists recently shared our
best tips for festin', which is a new verb I learned from my panelist pal
Mandy.
I'm glad you've invested in saving all of your precious Disney vacation memories with an Advance Memory Maker purchase. The money you saved by purchasing Memory Maker more than three days before your arrival can be spent enjoying those Global Marketplaces in EPCOT.
Memory Maker is one of my favorite souvenEARs and you've asked a thoughtful question about its use.
Once a Memory Maker entitlement has been
linked to an account, Sean, it must be activated from that account. This means your friends are not in danger of using your Memory Maker purchase by mistake. Activating Memory Maker can easily be done in your
My Disney Experience mobile app by clicking the three small stacked lines at the bottom right of the home screen --> Photos and selecting a photo. You're then given an option to activate your Memory Maker purchase which, once activated, accepts new media for up to 30 days. Activating your purchase removes the watermark for Disney PhotoPass photos and videos captured by you and up to 25 members of your
Family and Friends list.
I recently shared some
specific tips for viewing Family and Friend photos with another Guest, which you may find helpful. As the owner of the Memory Maker entitlement, you'll be able to save high-definition photographers taken by talented
Disney PhotoPass photographers to your mobile device during your trip. Once you get home, you'll have time to crop, edit, and download all of your media. Just make sure you do so before the expiration date, which is 45 days after each memory is captured.
I hope you have a picture-perfect vacation, Sean. Matching shirts are optional but highly recommended.
Plan magic; planDisney.
