We purchased memory maker for our upcoming trip and it is assigned to my daughter-in-law. She can see it online, but not on the app. How do we get it visible on the app and how does it get linked to the other family members?

    Hey Jennifer!

Your visit is almost here, and I’m so glad you found us at planDisney with your question! It sounds like this is a big family trip, which is my favorite way to visit Disney World.

Your Memory Maker purchase can be found on the My Disney Experience website under “My Plans, Reservations and Tickets” under the “Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker” section. There is not a similar section on the My Disney Experience app to see her Memory Maker purchase, but if your daughter-in-law can see Memory Maker linked to her account on the website, then it should be properly linked.

When you purchase Memory Maker you can download PhotoPass photos from up to 25 members of your Family & Friends List. To ensure you can see each other’s photos, everyone in your party should log in to their My Disney Experience accounts on the Walt Disney World website and visit your Family & Friends List. Find the person who has Memory Maker and click “Edit Settings” next to their name. Make sure the option to “Allow to view your Disney PhotoPass photos” is toggled on. This process can only be completed on the website and not on the app at this time. Now all your family needs to do is scan their MagicBand or MagicBand+, or provide their PhotoPass code to the photographer to add photos to the shared photo gallery!

You can view an approximate location of PhotoPass photo spots within the My Disney Experience app by visiting the park map and selecting “PhotoPass” from the drop-down menu at the top of the page. The locations marked are where you can usually find PhotoPass photographers roaming the area. Don't forget to ask the photographer if they have any Magic Shots to add a little animated magic to your photos!

I hope this helped, Jennifer! PhotoPass photos are a great souvenir from your Disney World vacation. I’ve got vacation photos from my younger years, my engagement, my kids’ first visits, and visits with their grandparents, all thanks to Disney PhotoPass Service
