I purchased Memory Maker for my trip in January. How do I like it to our Magic Bands and our race bibs for the half marathon?

Hi Kailey! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

You must be SO excited for your upcoming "race-cation" at the Walt Disney World Resort. I had a lot of fun running through "The Most Magical Place on Earth" during Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend a couple of years ago. Every mile felt like a pixie-dusted moment!

Now that race photos are taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers, Memory Maker is the way to go for race weekends! What a great value! First, to make sure your Memory Maker is linked to your MagicBand, just have both items linked to your My Disney Experience account. If you are staying at a Disney Resort hotel and will be receiving your MagicBand with your trip, it will auto-magically be linked to your account, and if you purchased Memory Maker through your account online, it should be linked as well.

For race photos, there will be a unique race ID that you will receive prior to the race in your digital race guide, or it can be found on the race website once we are closer to race weekend. I also found it on the back of my bib during marathon weekend. You will enter that ID along with your bib number on the PhotoPass website and since you will use your My Disney Experience account to link through the PhotoPass website, your photos will be linked to your Memory Maker.

Enjoy your trip, Kailey! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
