I just purchased the Memory Maker for our Sep trip. Will we be able to take our masks off for the photos? And if not, can I request a refund on the Memory Maker? Thanks!

Hey there, Tonya! Thanks for stopping by planDisney!

Last December I had the opportunity to use Disney’s Memory Maker for the first time and I have to say, it was so nice having a professional photographer take all of our photos (no more awkward selfies).

While some experiences are not currently offered due to recent events, the Disney PhotoPass Photographers will be using their magic to add an extra bit of pixie-dust to your photos. However, per your question, the current policy still requires you to wear a mask during your photos. If you wish to adjust your plans, I would suggest giving the Cast Members at Walt Disney World a call and they will be able to help you.

However, before you do so, you might consider keeping Memory Maker for your upcoming vacation as I’ve had several friends make the best of this new policy, and based upon their park, they changed out the theme of their masks. Sort of a perfect way to capture 2020 in Walt Disney World.

If you have any other questions please let us know. Otherwise, be sure to tell Mickey I said hello!
