Hi Kristi, welcome to planDisney!
Memory Maker is one of my favorite souvenirs from my visits to Walt Disney World Resort. My number one tip to give anyone visiting Walt Disney World is to stop at every Disney PhotoPass photographer you see! You’ll be able to easily spot the Disney PhotoPass photographers in their new
green costumes- they’re not just green in color, the fabric is made of recycled materials!
Memory Maker One Day allows you to download all your PhotoPass photos and videos from the day of your choosing. Your Memory Maker purchase is
activated when you download your first photo on the My Disney Experience app or Disney PhotoPass website.
Kristi, as I said earlier, make sure you are getting the most out of your Memory Maker purchase and stop at every PhotoPass photographer you see! Don’t forget to ask if they have a Magic Shot. My family loves to see what surprise pops up in our photo once it lands in our My Disney Experience account. Check out this list from
Disney Parks Blog of some
Magic Shots available during the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts which ends on February 20, 2023.
If you’re looking for a way to get a lot of great photos in a short amount of time, I recommend booking a
Capture Your Moment photo session. These are available at all four theme parks and a PhotoPass photographer will work with you to find the perfect location for photos of your whole travel party. My family has done several Capture Your Moment sessions for family photos and to commemorate our accomplishments. Personally, we like to let the photographer guide the session, they often have great ideas for poses and locations! The Disney Parks Blog recently shared some great tips for
getting the most out of your Capture Your Moment photo session.
Of course, you can’t miss out on attraction photos. I think the best attraction photos are when there isn’t much time to pose, like on
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. Some attractions offer short videos from your ride, for example,
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train.
One major thing to remember is to download your photos before they expire,
45 days from the date the photo was taken. After your trip you can log on to your My Disney Experience account on your web browser and purchase products personalized with your PhotoPass photos, like phone cases, or ornaments.
As you can tell, I am a very big fan of
Disney PhotoPass Service, and I am so excited for you to capture your magical memories while in the theme parks using PhotoPass!
Please
visit me again if you have any more planning questions, Kristi!
