Hi Elizabeth,
Welcome to planDisney!
If I had planning awards to give, you would win one! Mickey and Minnie will be very pleased to know that you have a trip planned to the Walt Disney World® Resort!
Memory Maker is fantastic and you will be happy to know that your purchase is good. Once you start using it during your visit, photos will have an expiration date. That
expiration date is currently 45 days from when the photo was taken.
Once you get home from your trip, just be sure to take some time to download your photos so that you save them all prior to those expiration dates. When you arrive for your visit, plan your photo strategy. I love to get at least one official photo with a
Disney PhotoPass® Service photographer at each theme park. I prefer to get this photo on the way into the park when we look more energized. Find your photo-taking rhythm to make sure you get lots of photos during your trip. Over the years, all of these memories have been priceless for my family.
As you continue to make plans, take a look at the
Enchanting Extras Collection. One of my girls loves animals so we always try to book an experience at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Up Close with Rhinos and Caring for Giants are two of our favorites. If you have some time and want to splurge, I also recommend
Wild Africa Trek. The views from the rope bridge are stunning.
Elizabeth, keep doing your research, follow the
Disney Parks Blog for updates, and mark your calendar for the date your
advanced dining reservation booking window opens. Be sure to book at least one
character meal. Our absolute favorite is
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
