Hiya Lisa,
Thanks for continuing to trust planDisney with your thoughtful Walt Disney World Resort trip-planning questions. A
Memory Maker purchase is the souvenEAR that keeps on giving. Kids outgrow Mickey sweatshirts and consumable items like snacks get, well, consumed! Images of your family together in front of Cinderella Castle and giving Mickey and Minnie warm hugs during
The World's Most Magical Celebration are tangible memories that will last a lifetime.
I feel a little bit like the Fairy Godmother sharing that, yes, your Memory Maker purchase includes unlimited downloads of all non-expired
Disney PhotoPass pictures, including attraction photos, taken by up to 25 members of your Family and Friends list. Bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!
There are a few things that need to happen in order for your Memory Maker purchase to function at full capacity, Lisa. You'll first need to make sure your Memory Maker purchase is
linked to your My Disney Experience account. Next, make sure that all members of your traveling party appear on your
Family and Friends list. The third step requires each member of your traveling party to
enable photo sharing with you from their My Disney Experience account. To do this, each member of your party should click "Update" next to your name on their Family and Friends list. In the "Choose which plans and photos Lisa can see" section, tell them to make sure they've checked the "My Disney PhotoPass Photos" box.
When viewing Disney PhotoPass photos during your vacation, my last tip is to make sure your photo filter is set to "View All" in your
My Disney Experience mobile app. Do this by clicking the three small lines at the bottom right of the home screen --> Photos --> Filter --> Family and Friends: View All --> Apply. I also encourage you to check out this
FAQ for some tips on making sure attraction photos link correctly during your trip.
In my experience, attraction photos often capture moments of pure joy (my daughter defeating Evil Emperor Zurg on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin) as well as moments of sheer terror (my son's first time going down the hill on Frozen Ever After). Whatever moments your family captures, Lisa, may they be the cause of many shared smiles. Family is the true magic!
Plan magic; planDisney.
