Purchased the memory maker and activated but all the pictures are still showing the watermark

Hello Katy, welcome to planDisney! Let’s see if I can help you remove the watermarks from your Disney PhotoPass photos after purchasing and activating Memory Maker so you can start enjoying all of the memories made while visiting the Walt Disney World Resort!

If you were logged into your My Disney Experience account when you made the Memory Maker purchase, the purchase should already be linked to your account, and your photos should have the watermarks removed. Since you still see the watermarks, I guess the link wasn’t made correctly. So, let’s walk you through that process to try again.

We have three different options to accomplish this process:
    1. Go to the Walt Disney World website and log into your MyDisneyExperience account. Next, link your Memory Maker Purchase to your account by entering the ID or Ticket Order Number that should have been emailed.
    2. Visit the Disney PhotoPass site, select Link Photos from the top bar, the Memory Maker circle, and Link Memory Maker to be directed to the same screen.
    3. Utilize your My Disney Experience app. Click the menu icon at the bottom right (three horizontal lines), scroll to the Disney PhotoPass section, select Photo Gallery, Link Photos, and scroll the top bar to Link Memory Maker. Enter the ID number and Link Media.

After successfully linking your Memory Maker purchase to your My Disney Experience account through one of the options above and selecting “Activate,” you should be accessible without the watermark. There are a couple of essential things to note. If Memory Maker is purchased at the advance purchase price, any photos taken within three days before or after the purchase will not be included. Additionally, you will have 45 days from when the photo was taken to download or purchase. Outside of 45 days, these photos can no longer be accessed.

If you are still unsuccessful, I suggest you contact Disney PhotoPass Service here. I have had different issues with PhotoPass and Memory Maker before, but the friendly Cast Members were always able to help me rectify my problem.

I hope this helps you capture the magic made at The Most Magical Place on Earth, Katy! Please revisit us at planDisney if you have any additional Disney vacation planning questions!
