I purchased the Memory Maker through AAA travel, how do I link it to the my Disney Experience the mobile app? I was not given an id number but instead given a confirmation number that is not the correct length to use it as a way to link it to my account.

    Hello Suzanne!

Welcome to planDisney! Memory Maker is one of my favorite add-ons to my Walt Disney World Resort vacation. Every year I find a perfect picture taken by Disney PhotoPass photographers to use in my Christmas Cards. As the mom, I always end up being the family documentarian and rarely in the photos with everyone. Memory Maker lets me relax, smile, and know that I am a part of these magical moments.

Linking Memory Maker can happen in two ways through the My Disney Experience Mobile App

If you received a 12-digit ID number or a very long Ticket Order Number you can enter it right into the app.

    1. Head to your menu (three stacked lines on the bottom right) and look for "Shop Memory Maker."
    2. Scroll till you see "Link it to Your Account.
    3. Under Admission media see if your confirmation number works.
    4. If you purchased Memory Maker as part of a package then you need to link your package by entering your confirmation number under "Resort Reservation" along with the last name on the reservation. This should connect Memory Maker along with your reservation.
To confirm that it is linked I suggest using a computer browser and looking at your My Disney Experience under "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets." Select "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" and scroll till you see "Memory Maker Purchases." You should see your purchase there but if you don't I would wait at least 24 hours to give it a chance to appear. If you continue to have issues linking Memory Maker then I would reach out to Disney PhotoPass for help. There is also a chance that it will show up perfectly linked to your account but not show up linked on the app. It happens sometimes and if confirmed by a Cast Member, I would not worry about it.

I hope this helps and you have a memorable and magical time!

    Happy Planning!

My husband and I work very hard to journey to our favorite place on Earth, Walt Disney World Resort, as much as we can. We have traveled as just adults, with babies, kids, teenagers, and senior citizens. We have seen so many characters, eaten at amazing places, and consumed a ton of Dole Whips. So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
