    Hi we purchased magicbands foe our upcoming trip to Disneyland under the assumption they would be usable at Disneyland and California Adventure. Our trip is 10/2-10/5. Do magicbands work at Disneyland at all? I'm told they only work at DisneyWorld.

    Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your question with us. I learned to love MagicBands as a Walt Disney World Resort regular, and I'm thrilled to see them at the Disneyland Resort soon! 

    Disney recently announced that MagicBand+ would be officially live at the Disneyland Resort this fall, but it's still unclear if this will happen in October, November, or December. Since we still don't have all the information, it could be wise to take them with you. 

    But it's also wise to prepare to use your Disneyland Mobile App and printed tickets to access theme parks and attractions just in case the Disneyland Resort is not yet ready for your MagicBands in early October. I promise you will have fun either way, Heather!
