We purchased 3 MagicBand+ for an upcoming Disney World trip in February, but are going to Disneyland in a week. Can we use our already purchased MagicBand+ at Disneyland as well? If so, how can we set them up on my Disneyland App? Thank you!

Hi Lara, welcome to planDisney!

Wait a second, did I hear that right? You have trips to both Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort coming up? HOW EXCITING! You are going to have the most magical time ever! My family is a huge fan of both resorts, so I'm super excited for you! And I have good news! You can use the same MagicBand+ at both Disneyland Resort and the Walt Disney World Resort! I actually took a recent trip to the Walt Disney World Resort and used MagicBand+ there, so I can't wait to use my MagicBand+ on my next visit to the Disneyland Resort!

To set up your MagicBand+ for your trip to the Disneyland Resort, you will need to open your Disneyland Mobile app, click the three horizontal lines in the bottom right-hand corner, and select "MagicBand+". This is where you can add and manage all of your bands! And just so you're aware, please know that currently only MagicBand+ is supported at the Disneyland Resort. MagicBand and MagicBand 2 are not supported at the moment.

I also want to provide a few key important links that should help. First, you can head over to the MagicBand+ Home Page at the Disneyland Resort website. This is where you can learn about the various features and capabilities of MagicBand+! Another super useful page is the MagicBand+ Set Up page for detailed instructions and videos that walk you step-by-step on how to set up your MagicBand+. If you encounter any difficulties, the MagicBand+ Support page is a great resource to help you troubleshoot common issues.
