Hi ! We had purchased magic your way tickets with a non expiration a few years ago at that time we had the fast pass that you would go to the ride put your ticket in and then get a time to come back. I heard this has changed? could someone explain thx

Hi, Leslie! Previously, I was the FastPass "runner" of the family, running ahead to the next FastPass kiosk when our "windows" opened to grab another one for use later that day. I was always worn out each day from spending the majority of it running all over the park while missing out on many of the attractions with my girls. The new FastPass+ system allows Guests to complete up to three FastPass+ selections for each day ahead of time, which now gives me the ability to stay with my family all day and ride our favorite attractions together.

The new FastPass+ system works in a similar way as the old system, in that you are given a one hour window in which to enter the FastPass+ queue for a specified attraction, thereby helping you experience the attraction with a limited wait time. The big change is that Guests are able to select three experiences ahead of time, provided that they link their park tickets to a registered My Disney Experience account. Guests staying in a Walt Disney World Resort can begin making their FastPass+ choices 60 days in advance of their check-in date. Guests not staying on-property can make their selections 30 days in advance. When your window of availability opens, you can make your FastPass+ selections via the My Disney Experience app, online, or by visiting an in-park kiosk.

Once you have used all three of your FastPass+ selections, you are welcome to choose more, one at a time. At this time, you will need to visit a kiosk to make further selections, within the park you wish to use the FastPass+ selection. So, if you are at Magic Kingdom but wish to use your Park Hopper ticket to enter Epcot later, you will need to wait until you arrive at Epcot to choose a FastPass+ at that park.

I hope this helps you plan a magical day! Please let me know if you have further questions.
