Purchased magic kingdom tickets for a date this month. If we are unable to use them can we use them on a future day, most likely when there are less restrictions?

    Hey there, Cathy!

It's good to see you here at planDisney, the place to ask us Panelists all about Disney Destination vacations as we offer our own vacation tips and insights.

Thanks for your question about expiration policies for Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets. The answer to your question on whether or not you can use the tickets you purchased for a future visit to the theme parks can depend on some of the specifics of your tickets. The best suggestion I can offer is to speak with the Walt Disney World Ticketing team directly by calling them at 407-566-4985 and selecting option 4. The Cast Members with the Walt Disney World Ticketing team can help you understand when your tickets expire and discuss your options with you. One of the options could be that you could use the tickets for a future visit to the theme parks. Another option could be that you could apply the ticket value towards the purchase of new theme park tickets in the future.

I'll share an encouraging note that I had to modify a planned trip to Walt Disney World Resort for which I purchased theme park tickets last year. After reaching out to the Walt Disney World Ticketing team, I learned the details of my ticket expiration dates. I was happy to learn I can look forward to using the tickets I purchased when I visit in the future.

Cathy, I hope there's a Walt Disney World Resort vacation in your future. If you have questions as you make your plans, please come back and ask us here at planDisney.

Here's to your great, big, beautiful tomorrow at Walt Disney World Resort!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
