Hey there, hi there, ho there, Austin! You're as welcome as can be here at
planDisney. Thanks a bunch for stopping by with your question!
Oh bother! I'm sorry to hear that you had to change your plans after the
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park hours were released for your vacation dates. Trust me... I know that struggle all too well! Having said that, I do have to let you know that––
as per the Walt Disney World ticket policy––tickets and packages are nontransferable and nonrefundable. What you CAN do, however, is modify your ticket usage date up until midnight EST of the day before you plan on using it. I understand that this news comes at an unfortunate time, especially since you've already purchased a second ticket.
While I'm happy to hear that you will be visiting Magic Kingdom Park on October 12, I know how frustrating it must be to have unused 1-Day Theme Park tickets in hand. The good news is that those tickets don't have to go anywhere! You're welcome to keep them for future use, Austin. In fact,
all unused Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park tickets may be applied towards the value of new tickets at the current price, so long as the new ticket purchase price is equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original tickets.
Austin,
you're still welcome to speak to a friendly Cast Member at (407) 934-7639 to see if there's anything that could be done in your particular case... but if I may, I'd like to make a suggestion! I do believe that everything happens for a reason, and maybe you were destined to visit Magic Kingdom Park on October 11. If you do decide to call, why don't you ask the Cast Members if you're able to apply the value of those 1-Day Theme Park tickets towards the purchase of
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets? I think that you would have an absolute blast! Otherwise, you'll be able to keep those unused tickets until you're ready to use them again.
Even though this wasn't the news that you were expecting, I hope that you have a wonderful time at the Most Magical Place on Earth later this year. If you have any other questions,
please feel free to reach back out to me. I'm always available and more than happy to help!
Warm hugs,
Ana Paula
