I purchased a Magic Key pass for my child after waiting for 8 hours in the queue. When I tried to purchase an Inspire Key for myself I got the notice that suddenly they were only available for renewal. When will the Inspire Key be available to purchase

Hi Ebony! Thanks for visiting planDisney.

Magic Key sales were highly anticipated and the demand was high. Guests love having more access to the magic during the year, discounts, and fun perks. I'm sorry if you weren't able to secure the Magic Key of your choice after waiting in the queue. I'm sure that's frustrating, and while I'd love to be able to share when sales might open again, I don't have any more advanced information than you do. It could be weeks or months before Magic Keys open again.

In the meantime, you can take steps to ensure you're one of the first to know they're coming back. Update your profile to make sure you're receiving all communications from Disneyland Resort. Then, follow the Disney Parks Blog and Disneyland Magic Key. These are official news sources that often announce the sale of Magic Keys, so they're good ones to watch.

There are other offers currently available, which might fit your needs so you can enjoy the parks in the coming months more often, as they offer Guests great value. One is the Kids' Special Ticket Offer, which my family will be taking advantage of soon. The other is the SoCal Special Ticket Offer, which allows Guests in eligible ZIP Codes with a valid government-issued ID proving their residence access to the parks on select days at a great price. Prices and terms of these offers are subject to change.

    Have a magical day!
