We purchased the magic your way with dining plan. Can we use the meal credits whenever we want during our vacation? Can we eat two table services on the first day& then use the quick service not utilized on 1st day, on the 2nd day? or do we lose it?

    Dear Mom from New Jersey:

You can absolutely use your dining credits at any time during your vacation!

Disney actually lumps all of your family's table service credits, counter service credits and snack credits for the Basic Dining Plan into a big pool. (For example, if there are 4 of you and you are visiting for 5 nights on the BDP, you will have 20 table service, 20 counter service, and 20 snack credits to use for the duration of your trip.)

When you eat, your Keys to the Kingdom card is swiped and the cast member simply subtracts the number of credits you cashed in from the big pool. There's no separating credits by day or by person (which may or may not be a good thing if you have teenagers roaming the park armed with a Keys to the Kingdom card that accesses your dining credits, but that story will need to be saved for another day and more space).

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
