MagicBand+ and Smart Phone

    I purchased a magic band and my wife in her Disney app linked my band to my ticket. However, I cannot see the magic band under my profile. When I tried to link it in my Disney app, it said it was already claimed by someone. How can I move the magic band

    Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation countdown fits on one hand, can you believe it?! You can expect a bit of liquid sunshine each day, so be sure to pack a poncho and plenty of sunscreen. Stay hydrated on your park days with complimentary ice water available at all Quick Service dining locations. My favorite frozen treat is a Night Blossom from Pongu Pongu in Pandora - The World of Avatar at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park. It's the perfect combination of sweet and refreshing.

    Thank you for explaining your Stitch-uation so clearly. I've given myself an honorary doctorate in Disney and my unofficial diagnosis is a case of duplicate My Disney Experience accounts. It sounds like you have your own My Disney Experience account and that some of your vacation entitlements are linked to a My Disney Experience account profile managed by your wife's account. You can confirm this by taking a look at your wife's Family & Friends list in My Disney Experience. If your name appears with the words "plans managed by me" next to it, follow these steps to merge this account profile with your separate account:

    1. Logged into your wife's My Disney Experience account, click "Update" next to your name on her Family & Friends list
    2. Click "Share Planning with Steven" in the upper right corner of the "Update Steven's Information" box.
    3. Enter the email address connected with your My Disney Experience account and click "Continue."
    4. Accept the email invitation to connect and all of the vacation entitlements housed under your wife's account (including your MagicBand) will automagically transfer to your account. You will remain connected as Family & Friends, which means you can continue to view and make plans for each other.
    Similar steps can be followed in the My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the app's home page --> scroll down to "My Profile" --> "Family & Friends List" tab).

    By purchasing a MagicBand, you've invested in convenience at theme park entry, Lightning Lane entrances, with Disney PhotoPass photographers, and more. The lights on MagicBand+ designs also let you become part of the magic during nighttime spectaculars.
