    When I purchased a magic band for one of my guests, that person had a female name and gender. That person has officially changed their name and gender to male. How can I activate a new Magic Band with the new name and gender?

    I see that your Walt Disney World vacation is coming up quickly--you must be so excited to experience all of the magic there this season!

    One of the things that I love about our visits is that no two are alike. Traveling with friends, different family members, or even at various times of the year means we craft our packing and touring accordingly, and which MagicBands we bring is at the top of the packing list. 

    You can easily leave that old band behind and order the perfect MagicBand for your Guest. Because your MagicBands are linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can add as many of them as you'd like. As such, the new MagicBand assigned to your Guest will give him access to all of the magic. You may even spot some that catch your eye as you tour the parks, resorts, and Disney Springs. (I can't seem to stay away from them...the designs are so creative!)

    If Theme Park Tickets or Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservations are linked in your My Disney Experience account using the inaccurate information, you can have that adjusted, too. When we've needed changes made to some of our Guests' information in our My Disney Experience accounts, but couldn't access those revisions ourselves, I've simply called (407) 939-5277, and a very helpful Cast Member has assisted with everything. Easy peasy!

    Once all of your Guests' information is up-to-date and you are all linked in your My Disney Experience Family & Friends List, be sure to have everyone download the super-handy My Disney Experience mobile app. That way, you'll all be able to see those fun plans, including Advanced Dining Reservations, Theme Park Tickets, Disney Park Pass system reservations, and even any Disney PhotoPass Service pics that happen to capture the memories. Even better? The names on all Guests' plans will be the right ones, as it should be. :-)
